(Senior) Cyber Security Consultant

Tasks
- Advising clients on security strategies, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), and regulatory requirements, particularly in accordance with ISO 27001, NIS-2, DORA, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and BSI C5
- Development, documentation, and presentation of tailored security concepts based on individual client requirements
- Analysis, design, and implementation of security measures in IT and cloud security projects
- Implementation and monitoring of security controls and compliance requirements, e.g., in accordance with CIS Benchmarks
- Design, testing, and implementation of customized technical security solutions
- Support for audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses in the context of information security and compliance
- Continuous monitoring of emerging security technologies, threat trends, and regulatory developments
Qualifications
- Several years of project experience in information security, ideally in consulting or implementation projects
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards, frameworks, and regulations, e.g.:
- ISO 27001 / ISMS
- NIS-2 / DORA / GDPR
- BSI IT-Grundschutz / BSI C5
- or comparable industry-specific standards
- Technical understanding of security technologies and products, particularly:
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
- SIEM solutions
- Vulnerability Management
- Threat Intelligence
- Experience in creating and maintaining security policies, concepts, and documentation for diverse target audiences
- Knowledge of cloud security (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) as well as DevSecOps and container security
- Ideally, certifications such as:
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, T.I.S.P., CISSP, CISM, CISA, OSCP, CEH etc.
- Strong project management and communication skills, combined with a solution-oriented and structured working style
- Excellent German language skills (business fluent) and English language skills (fluent)
- High willingness to learn and strong interest in continuous personal and professional development
